纏綿悱惻20年，金錢之愛(ài)根據(jù)以色列移民在美國(guó)追逐夢(mèng)想的真人真事改編。故事開始于1973年的Tel Aviv，在那Izek在臟亂差的環(huán)境下成長(zhǎng)，街頭混混經(jīng)常光顧的地下賭場(chǎng)就開在他家酒吧的后面。這所賭場(chǎng)是罪惡的溫床，逐漸侵蝕著Izek和他的家人。最后迫不得已，舉家遷至洛杉磯。為了追逐夢(mèng)想重頭來(lái)過(guò)，Izek開始了經(jīng)商之路，購(gòu)置地產(chǎn)，經(jīng)營(yíng)一家汽車修理廠。他春風(fēng)得意，處處受到幸運(yùn)女神的眷顧，尤其是當(dāng)他與Aline墜入愛(ài)河之后。但是好景不長(zhǎng)，Izek一直想逃離的罪惡一直如影隨形，追隨他到每一個(gè)角落... Spanning over two decades, "For the Love of Money" follows the true account of an Israeli immigrant who searches for his piece of the A merican dream. The story begins in Tel Aviv in 1973, where a young Izek is raised in a seedy, gangster filled illegal casino that operates behind his family's bar. The casino is a haven for unsavory characters who seek to corrupt him to their way of life. When the violence and crime finds its way to him and his family, Izek (Yuda Levi) and his family relocate to Los Angeles. Hoping to start anew, he pursues his ambitions to become a young entrepreneur by developing small businesses, purchasing real estate, and running an auto repair shop. Success seems to find him at every turn and after falling in love with the beautiful Aline (Delphine Chaneac), luck seems to be on his side. However, it isn't long before the world of crime that Izek tried to escape so long ago continues to doggedly follow him every step of the way...…
